Jack Morose: Hero, Molder, Special Action Team. 

Nicknames: Molder, The Atrophy, The Entropic, The Energy Sponge. 

Jack Morose is tall and lanky, with pale, bloodless skin, heterochromatic eyes the pale yellow and red of the moons Maroon and Saffron, and black hair peppered with silver. He wears a dress shirt, slacks, work safety shoes, and a ballistic weave trench coat. He has a duty belt with a .45 magnum revolver, a stun gun, and narrative-suppressing cuffs. He has a dour look, a cynical nature, and almost always has an unlit cigarette in his lips.  

Molder works for the SAT federal task force set to combat and assist local law enforcement against Narratives in conjunction with Hero support. He is a powerful Narrative able to project a field of decay that rots material things, saps strength, and tears energy from objects. He can tear the kinetic energy out of bullets, causing them to lose all punch force, destroy energy projectiles, and stop physical projectiles dead in the air. He is seen as a peer of Shutdown, though their powers function very differently, and Shutdown still outclasses Molder. Molder does his best not to decay suspects unless given no choice. Molder enjoys looking over conspiracy theories and mocking the more absurd ones. He’s generally partnered with Geist, with her acting as offense and him defense.
