Adrian Steiner, the twin brother of Cyrus Steiner, lived in the shadow of intellectual greatness most of his childhood. Though it ended up being the more financially savvy of the two. He partnered with his brother and built a commercial empire. Under the Steiner Brothers Cydren: Weapons and Technology was born, and while not as brilliant as his brother, Adrian was still a genius who could see how his brother could alter his creations for greater commercial and societal purposes. His dream was to build a business that would last longer than empires, survive human life on the world of Ithia, and whose name would spread across the stars. He built the tight bonds of Cydren and the Astarte party that saved it from nationalization, managed the business side, and ensured their future family and that Cyrus himself lived in comfort for eternity.
Adrian was taller, muscular, with a well-trimmed beard and mustache. He dressed far more formally than his brother, wore pince-nez glasses, and a pocket watch with the brothers immortalized together in enamel. While many saw him as the cold brother, he secretly funded untold philanthropic agendas, from ending the legal slavery of foreigners, fighting for the marriage of Axandrains and Outsiders, and securing inheritance rights of impure humans. His fights secured the human rights of half-humans throughout the empire under the Even One Drop slogan. He foresaw the suffering that would come as outside enemies shrank, and those seeking sacrificial lambs turned their attentions inwards, saving millions from suffering. He died at the age of ninety-six a symbol of the greater humanity, a symbol of fighting corruption, hate, and planted the seeds of several Rebellions with secret funding.
