Relic Name: Crosses on Shimosa
Type: Misc.
Origin Class: Fall of the Shogun.
Appearance: The cross from the sights of an Ashike anti-air cannon whose barrel melted from continuous fire as Vigint forces fought bitterly to keep Axandrian forces from gaining a foothold on the Ashike archipelago. The fortified coast of the large island of Shimosa would give Axandrian forces a major point to launch air raids across the Ashike lands, bomb the capital of Ryuu, and cut the island chain’s ferry system in half. Under Heicho Gomihara Hareaki, this sight was used to down 32 Axandrian fighters, bombers, and transport planes before the barrel melted, and heavy naval bombardment destroyed his position.
Phenomenal Traits:
Falling Sky: Gomihara Hareaki defied a sky so full of invaders one barely had to aim. While channeling this relic, projectiles from your weapons seem to be drawn towards flying targets, making them curve up to forty-five degrees in pursuit. Projectiles that hit airborne targets explode as if their entire mass was dynamite.
Blood and Sea: When his position fell, Gomihara Hareaki met Axandrian Marines forming a beachhead for the main infantry as paratroops rained from the sky above. He fought with rifle, pistol, bayonet, knife, and finally his bloody and broken hands. He died a spirit of war, surrounded by invaders, and bought time for Ashike forces to regroup and drive the first wave back into the sea. While channeling this relic, you can completely block out pain and remain standing even on shattered bones. So long as you have the blood and organs to keep going, you seem almost unfazed by your injuries.
