The Arassi 

‘Family, Honor, Dedication.’   

The Arassi are an organized criminal element led by the Arassi family. Primarily Axandrian Veterans who work as a pseudo-covert arm of the Astarte. The Arassi serve the Astarte Party, covertly ruling the criminal underworld with little to no oversight. Tasked with rooting out rebels, driving out dangerous elements, destabilizing criminal and terrorist organizations, and ensuring the Party’s visible strength is never challenged. When the Astarte don’t want large open displays of terror, the Arassi are the scalpel that removes the tumor. 

The Arassi have influence in the Capital, Axandria, Dophia, Dodicerous, and Mariland. They  

The Arassi power is held primarily by the Patriarch, Fathers, and Mothers who lead local families. The Patriarch, Albani Arassi, is a man of great power, prestige, and control, having served as General of the Infantry before Wolfgang. He rules Axandria city from the shadows.  

The Arassi have deep pockets from criminal activities, Astarte funding, and have access to Astarte military stockpiles. They dress neatly, cleanly, and elegantly, with a large membership. They run smuggling operations, sell drugs into unwanted neighborhoods, and sell weapons to encourage weak and disorganized resistance for Astarte forces to crush. The Arassi fund counter-spy activities and often use them as a retirement incentive for loyal, useful soldiers.
