Appearance:
A book ruined by fire and smoke, a charred cover is illegible now. Charred truths burned by spite and hatred. Ink bleeds from the pages like blood from an arterial gash when the pages are open, forming words once destroyed. This book was a final defiance of a writer who saw the rise of the Astarte party leading to the future nightmares of the Assimilation wars and then the Extermination war. He told of the seas of blood they would raise to fill their emptiness. When the Astarte came, they dragged him and threw his book into a pyre, and he followed. Now the spirit of the artist is eternally trapped in its pages, unable to let go of what others tried to throw away.
Phenomenal Traits:
Ink Heart: When this relic is channeled, the wielder feels healthier when wounded ink bleeds from the book, encircling wounds and smothering them until they stop bleeding. It forms strings of ink and shadow, knitting wounds close, and tendrils of ink pull out projectiles. The Author fights with you for every breath, for every word spoken, for every deed done in defiance.
