The Swords of the Shogan. Personal Guard of the Ashike Shogun.
The Swords of the Shogun are the elite guard of the Ashike Shogun. These elite Samurai are each hand-picked to serve as the personal bodyguard of the Shogun. Each member comes from a noble family and is a veteran, champion, or hero. These elite guards are well paid and are required to train several hours every day when their official duties do not interfere. Each member is a master of a weapon and may customize their kit to suit their fighting style and preferences, so long as it uses the sumac, white, and gold colors.
The Swords of the Shogun serve as the personal bodyguards of the Shogun. They stand as the physical embodiment of Shogunate strength. These elite guards are a mix of skilled close combatants, archers, and spellcasters. Each member is a warrior of renown from across the Vigint empire. Sometimes they are sent out to perform the will of the Shogun and the Emperor. They excel in single combat and in defending strongpoints, though they are not well-versed in formation fighting.
