Horthgud Chieftain of the West Rise, Champion of Dreous, Son of Dreous, and Hero of the Dreite.  

Nicknames:  The Grand Chief, The Great Jackal, The One who Walks with Death, The Conqueror, and The Unifier.  

Horthgud took the small West Rise tribe and brought to heel dozens of chieftains, drove back the Dales, and built an Empire spanning almost the whole of modern Evar. An unmatched warrior and master of logistics, he keeps his armies and territory supplied, building roads to move his forces across his empire. He, with the help of the other Great Chieftains, built the great Pyramids of Dreous, which channel the power of the Leylines of Dophia towards the glory of Dreous.  

Horthgud is a tall Jackal with a coat as dark and brooding as a stormy midnight. His body is hulking with a build more like a grizzly bear than a man, his mass is marred with scars, and he wears a crown with a trinket from each conquered chieftain.
