Arneg Foxe, The Lackey, Ex-Slave, first king of Evar. 

Nicknames: The Seagull, The Kennel Master, The Rake, and The Cutthroat.  

Arneg Foxe, the friend and lackey of Elliot Hythe, born under the watch of Septrinian and raised as a slave, was one of several freed by the King of Ebon. A highly competent wielder of sling, bow, and staff, he is not the showman Hythe is, but can put on intricate and entertaining shows of combat. In the end, Foxe became the King of the Evar with much of the leadership dead after the war with the Dreite. 

Arneg Foxe is a low-profile man who, besides Elliot Hythe, seems invisible. The Shadow of a great boisterous man. Foxe moves silently, wears dark greens and greys to blend in with the darkness, and will strike before those he feels might turn hostile have the chance.
