Human Weapons of War
Charged Weapons: An advanced weapons technology used with physical munition weapons. Using a small laser to find shield wavelengths, they coat a physical round with the shield wavelength, which is absorbed by the shield and slingshots the physical round through it.
Lasers: High-energy, focused beams of light. Serving a wide variety of utility and combat purposes. Lasers are rare as primary weapon systems in human space, as they rely on heat and lack stopping power, but they work well as countermeasures.
Particle: Particle weapons are anti-infantry weapons that fire focused bursts of energy mixed with radioactive particles. Similar to lasers, but can quickly cause illness, deny enemy areas, and spread terror through enemy lines.
Plasma: Plasma weapons superheat gas into a plasma state, encase it in a magnetic field, and fire it at enemies. Generally, a shorter ranged weapon causes severe burns and shock.
Ion Weapons: Ion weapons are specifically Ionized Plasma bolts designed to hammer down heavy shields, disrupt rare unshielded technology, and disrupt wireless communication.
Beam Lance: Beam Lances are ICESed Boosted Plasma Weapons fired in an extended beam that can cut through Titanium Armor. Generally used by Capital Ships, a Beam Lance can generally sheer strikecraft in half.
Disruptor: Disruptors fire streams of electricity at the right voltage and amps to disrupt the electrical impulses of the human nervous system. Primarily for crowd control, and has to be designed for a specific species. Used for the acquisition of intelligence assets, putting down protests, strikes, riots, and high-value targets.
Sonic: Sonic Weapons use focused directional sound waves to disorient, confuse, and harm targets. Some Sonic weapons are designed to vibrate organs till they rupture.
Kinetic/Pressure: Kinetic Weapons use Psi-Tech to build pressure waves that bowl over enemies, harness telekinetic wave lengths to lift, move, and throw objects. Primarily used to disrupt large groups of individuals, create and remove barricades, provide logistic support, and provide various utility assistance.
IR: Weapons that fire high-powered Infared waves, burning enemies in near-invisible light.
Coil: Coil weapons fire directional bursts of Gamma radiation, frying unshielded technology, burning organic enemies, and causing radiation poisoning.
