*The Celestials or Coelestis Exercitus, servants of the Gods, are divided into Solnatus, who serve the Seir’Ald, Orbisliberi, who serve the Powers, and Astrumortus, who serve the Fates.   

The Astrumortus of Sultria are the Malaemaids. Malaemaids are tall, pale, terrible, and beautiful. They are creatures with long bramble tentacles reaching out from their backs, butterfly wings with watching eyes, and snapping jaws to null existence. Their fingers have long painted claws, their enchanting smiles full of sharpened teeth, and glamour radiates from them, twisting perception to make them the perfect wet dream, covering up the nightmare.  

The Malaemaids are powerful wielders of mental magic, spreading terror, chaos, and wanton ruin. They shape Horrors and command legions of living nightmares. They are resistant to most physical force but are highly vulnerable to silver and rosewood.  

The Malaemaids serve as the lieutenants of Sultria, arcane casters of the Coelestis Host, Summoners, and breakers of enemy morale. They serve as Sultira’s personal handmaids, handling her very long hair.   

Malaemaids come in ranks of Status and Power. Malice, Vice, Horror, and Vile.
