First Admiral, Commander of the Fleets, Ruler of the Seas, Lord Izsak Kende is one of the most powerful officers and does not follow or belong to the rest of the Astarte High Command. He commands the seas and is solely tasked with managing logistics, ship fleets, and ports across the Empire. He governs his fleets from Gothique, the great coastal mountain fortress inaccessible from land, with coastal forts armed with enough defensive guns to erase even the largest ship guns before they ever enter firing range. He is the only Greaseman in the direct Astarte leadership. He is known for literally ripping those who defy him in half with his massive hands. He serves on the Greasemen High Council as the species’ primary leader. He commands dozens of carriers, thousands of ships of war, including battleships, destroyers, and cruisers. Tens of thousands of frigates, cutters, and gunboats, fleets of carrier-style aircraft, and innumerable support vessels. While he shifted naval doctrine from battleships to carrier groups, General Szabina severely limited his aircraft acquisition, preventing him from phasing out obsolete battleships. He has a large, trusted group of admirals who serve as governors over sections of the sea. He ascended to Lordship for his work destroying the Vigint navy during the Assimilation Wars. He has married General Szuts Adel, who commands the Marine Corps.
Csikos Kende is a hulking Greaseman standing at sixteen feet tall and more than half as wide at the shoulders. Descended from Hudwar intermixed with Kaiden, he has deep, dark skin, is bald, and has thick white eyebrows and a long white beard, giving him the rough appearance of an Orca; with his duty as the leader of the navy, the nickname has stuck. He wears the clean white uniform of an Astartes admiral, though he often has small marks as he is quite hands-on with mechanical things.
