Writing Worlds with Words

Heroes of Ithia: Oidhche Stiùbhartach.

Oidhche Stiùbhartach. Dewiswyd of Clan y Bryn y Cleddyfau.

Nicknames: The Sadist, The Berserker, The Poet, and The Warrior.

Dweiswyd  Oidhche Stiùbhartach is one of the Chosen warriors, leaders, and sworn brothers under Fergus. One of the Clan’s best warriors, a berserker who charges his foes with veins full of divine drafts and a great two-handed axe. Known for his sadistic and pseudo-artistic ways, many say if he hadn’t been a warrior, he would have been a failed poet. He has the greasy charm of a con artist, the lust of a boy finding manhood, and the cruelty of a child finding a deep passion in tormenting and killing insects and defenseless animals. The most feared of the Dweiswyd, known for evil and spreading suffering. He commands the western lands.

Oidhche has a greasy, boyish charm, a wicked smile, and eyes that skip from undressing to tearing off clothes. One feels dirty in his presence, as if you are nothing but meat for butchery or pleasure under those cold, dispassionate eyes. Only Domhnullach can truly keep him in line through fear of death at the hands of the great demi-god. He seems almost self-destructive in combat, as if the only thrill left to him is risking death and ruin, though his chieftain inspires enough terror that he avoids conflict with him. His face has deep scars from desperate nails tearing and clawing to escape from this monster who sees no people, only meat.
