Dead Age – People of Renown: General Wolfgang.

General Argathi Wolfgang, The Infantry, The Foot Soldier, The Manpower.

Nicknames: The Twin Swords, The Enforcer of Axandria, The Wielder of Dark and Light, The Sword of Axandria.

General Argathi Wolfgang is the most competent officer in the Astarte high command and leads special operations on the front lines. Tactical, strategic, and highly skilled with the sword, he and his force have dominated the rebels wherever they’ve stood to fight him head-on. He commands the Astarte regime’s largest corps, leading Axandria’s foot soldiers and shock troops, including foreign auxiliaries and motorized infantry divisions. After the supreme leader’s death, Wolfgang set out to purge corruption from the Astarte ranks and, from the ashes, raise the Empire to new greatness. Shadow flees his wake; fire bows before him, and light seems ever brighter in his presence. He maintains a tight group of loyal servants, including his eldest son, Generalleutnant Dragori Wolfgang, and Highlord Hagen the Sunslayer, who leads the Shocktroop divisions.

General Wolfgang is tall and imposing, with lean, purposeful muscle, clean, sharp features, and slightly pointed ears. His eyes are white gold, making his pupils look like an eclipse. He is clean-shaven, with short blonde hair, an old Astarte Chimera tattoo, and the Infantry Corps emblem. He wears a clean uniform provided by the High Command, with a few personal medals. Two legendary weapons, said to be the swords of the dead gods Paladar and Na’Tally, rest at his sides and shear through steel, flesh, and gods alike. Some say he is a reincarnated god; some say he is the spirit of Axandria made flesh to seek retribution against those who tainted its cause; some say he is a mere man who has earned the respect of a Godslaying nightmare and a keen mind and merciless skill. Of the generals who crave it, Wolfgang is most likely to seize power over the Astarte. He surrounds himself with soldiers burned and branded with the sun, women in robes of red, and hair the depth of fire, and seems unfazed by incendiary weapons.
