General Lazar Nemes, The Figurehead, The Young, The Honored.
Nicknames: The Honored, The Boy, The High General, The Figurehead.
Lazar is technically the new leader of the Astarte Military and controls the palace. He is the youngest officer to reach his rank and was elected not because he was an exemplar of ability, but because he was neither offensive nor weighed down by political infighting. He did not earn his position through front-line combat and is thus the weakest of the Generals, but he is a commendable tactician, strategist, and logician, and one of the only generals competent enough to keep overseas assets supplied. He commands the most elite forces of the Astarte and is the theoretical leader of the Knighthood, Brotherhood, and Sisterhood, ensuring the Party’s dogma. He relies heavily on High Galant Pataki Janos, Father Samuel Somogyi, and Mother Levente, who has no record of having a first name anyone can find.
Lazar is a youthful man in his mid-twenties, adorned in the royal blue-purple uniform of the supreme leader of the Astarte; he wears a large red cape with tassels that hang over his shoulders, carrying the victories past leaders earned from conquests to wars. He wears a peaked cap with gold chimera heads decorating the brim like a tiara.
