Doodles tend to be passive creatures, rarely seeking or willing to face conflict; many seek to fly across the great blue sky. Some say Dollidoos are inherently cowards. They say they will never fly so high. They will never overcome the weakness of their souls or their lack of. Sull never dreamed of flying. His place was on the ground, to be a ward against predators of body and soul. A beak of vengeance and a protecting wing mantled against the dark. Sull has faced monsters from Dragons to Men, he has stood against undead hordes and survived the first Assimilation War of Axandria. Sull is courage, Sull is boldness, Sull is Hope that while his people may never fly, they will nevertheless rise.
Born in the dying embers of the Age of Wonders Sull as a hatchling had killed a hawk that had swooped down to take one of his siblings. He had been born without whatever chemical made the doodles so passive. He was bold and as he fought his way upwards, aging earning a suit of plate barding, he proved that the meek did not need to remain so. Clad in gleaming steel a feather from each of his siblings and parents forming a plume on his helm, his beak bolted in steal blades, and small sharp steel claws fit over his natural wing claws he gleamed. He was a hero and his descendants became the great Longbeaks bold and strong to protect the flock.
