Writing Worlds with Words

Gods of Ithia: Fate.

Fate. That Which Binds.

Known as The Path, Destiny, The Puppet Master, The Director, That Which Binds.

Fate has no physical body but is generally seen as feminine. Sometimes depicted as a translucent figure, heavily cloaked, with one delicate hand outstretched, holding the strings of a puppet. Fate controls, twists, and forces, attempting to keep the world following divine providence provided by Narrative.

Fate is the rut in the road you have no choice but to follow; the overseer ready to crack the whip at the wayward, the lead and bit that abuses the stubborn equine with vicious pulls. Fate is a blunt force trauma, uncaring about the harm it does so long as what is meant to happens. Fate is seen as the most malicious of the Forces and is the only one that found death. Forces are not supposed to be capable of dying, and yet… The Avenger found the will shattering the timeline that followed.
