Prince Willow. Prince Consort, Master of the Death, Fairy Lord, The Poet, The Water Dancer.
Known as Willow, The Poet, The Water Dancer, The River Lord, The Respite, and The Wise Prince.
Willow has skin the color of river stones, patched with spots of willow bark. His antlers rise in droopy lines like the branches of a willow tree with long strands of leaves running down behind him like some massive willow bridal veil and train. His hair is river water tinted pink by willow flowers and can often be seen spotted with ducks quacking about quite happily down whatever stretch of river he’s borrowing. He is lanky, tall, and prone to wearing water shaped into intricately refined outfits, giving the ladies of court quite an eyeful. Though when standing on official business, he wears deep darkness he took from the abyssal deep of the Depthless lands, crowned with a circlet of rib bones, rosemary, and rue. His voice stems from the silence of sacred places, of libraries, of funerals, of churches, and then the rise of a sweet choir, the chimes of bells, the chanting of monks; he is the sacred word, and his voice is one of wisdom and command.
Willow is a mix of gregarious socialites and shut-in students. When his hair branches are in flowering, he is the shameless boytoy of Queen Noxarsia Nightfell, but when they fall away, he becomes more reclusive and retreats into study, poetry, and pursuits of contemplation. He is one of the most intelligent Oberous, possibly the only one equal to the Queen they serve. He wields fairy magic with such finesse he has been made an honorary member of the Harai; though some believe it’s because he is a handsome bad boy, tragic poet, and flirt. He fights his foes with Glamour, Athru, and Foirm, controlling, confusing, and twisting his foes before catching them around the throat with his long bone sickles.
