The Factions of the Dead Age.
The Wae Zìyóu gònghéguó
‘Thousands of years in chains, freedom forever unbound.’
The Wae Free Republic is led by an elected body of leaders and joined by the once independent Tai and Vihal. Large seconds of land are sectioned into provinces led by governors; provincial boarders attempt to take into account ethnic and cultural divides. With much of Astarte military attention focused on keeping the Ashike under control, the collapse of their military influence left little to no opposition across Wae. The Wae having tasted freedom and joined as equals by the Tai and Vihal have formed a unified state led by a supreme chancellor, governors, and elected councils. They fight the Astarte forces, tyrannical governments in Dodicerous, and try to secure peace and prosperity for Wae.
The WZG holds most of the northern mainland of Dodicerous including the former lands of Wae, Tai, and Vihal.
The WZG power is held across a small federal governement with much social power at a local level. Governors act as national leaders in a vague coalition rather than one truly unified state, causing some states to flourish and others to wither.
The WZG lacks the stockpiles many states seized from retreating Astarte forces as there was minimal martial presence. Having had to rapidly industrialize on their own as the Astarte party used Wae as an agricultural focal point, they have massive stockpiles of food and raw materials due to their large land holdings. Wae relies heavily on its massive pool of manpower to hold back the already industrialized and armed Ashike. They have a limited navy as Ashike regularly raid areas suitable for building warships. The Wae have non-standardized gear as many weapons are handmade with limited industrial power. Mass-production focuses on producing aircraft and decent armored vehicles to support mass infantry movements.
