*Relics are objects that have absorbed personality, tragedy, raw emotion, and other extremes from mortal and divine life. They gain power from those who once held them and are a major source of power among those evading the Astarte forces. * 

Relic Name: The Pale Stave.

Origin Class: Old World Stains.  

Appearance: A long thin branch worn smooth by many hands and wrapped in bloodied bandages weathered to a pale yellow. Fishing line hangs from a tight crook of copper bound to the head with hooks for drying out herbs. It looks as if it might break in twain at the slightest breath. It was once owned by the healer Unelad Palenoir. A visitor from a distant plane was chased from his home as it was laid to waste and trapped on Sarabrand. This staff is all that remains of the deathly ill healer.  

Phenomenal Traits:   

Deny Death: Some things fade, others deny the end altogether; by snapping this staff in twain over a corpse, one may restore to it their life and soul. A true resurrection magic that is truly one of a kind and only a single use.
