Writing Worlds with Words

Archetypes of Ithia: The End.

*The Archetypes are Immortal heroes who at a certain trigger recall all their previous lives. They are mortal children of a God and their divine servants.

The End: Demi-God and Champion of Daltmot.

Notable Incarnations. –

The End is complete and total defeat; he is the final bow, the denied ‘happy ever after’, the false victory, the unending evil, that which divides, turns inwards, and poisons. He does not serve a side in the battle of the Archetypes; he does not seek his own pursuits except for destroying everything the other Archetypes have built. The only Archetype who regenerates into the same person with every death. Dividing his essence and flesh to create his next incarnation in safety. He is perfectly polite, handsome, eternally youthful, and charming. He has no value for life, killing anyone who stops being useful to his current goal, though he dislikes suffering and makes sure his killings are efficient. The only Archetype that still works with this monster is the Knife in all her bloodthirsty madness.

The End’s Ring of Power allows the wearer to divide pieces of themselves away; be it body, mind, or spirit, they can tear away personality quirks, addictions, pain, feelings, memories, ripping away at themselves until there’s nothing left. It can’t restore what it takes, and what is lost is gone forever. He wields twin daggers stolen from Marlis and Kaxis, their blades whispering of air from bone handles wrapped in leather. He wears a cloak stolen from Tal’Zakra that allows him to hide in plain sight, Gauntlets from Ko’Gin, and armor from Ja Zoi, making him the most heavily equipped of the Archetypes. He does not make noise; he can’t be seen, and he will strike down all that bars his dreams of division.

The End is a slim man with a boyish face, clean-shaven face, and a hairless body. He has neat curly blonde hair and eyes with pinpoint pupils. He’s often well dressed in sleek black, accented in brighter colors in ways that are easy to conceal under his cloak. He often comes off as a naive princeling, vulnerable, and weak until you look into those empty eyes that look past you, not seeing anyone but just another object no more important than refuse on the street.
