Duncan Darkenveil: Thief, Dreamer, Ambitious Cutthroat, Blade of Mealis. 

Nicknames: The Lord of Rats, The Rambler, The Thief, The Lucky. 

One of the younger members of the Blades of Mealis is a common cutthroat but a very capable thief. He is said to have snuck into the Plane of Garon and stolen from him his sacred dice, taking luck into his own hands. He was trained as a crossbow levy and is decent in its use, as he learned how to fight with knives and daggers in alley melees, and is cunning and vicious.  

Duncan Darkenveil has dark skin from Kaiden blood, a crooked smile, and small black eyes that look like a drop of ink spreading across milk. His smile feels as real as a ring of pinchbeck, and his eyes feel as if they see nothing but corpses and opportunities before him. He has thick black hair that falls to his neck and can often be found carving various small animals, though generally rodents.  He idly plays with a set of ivory dice with golden pips that many think he stole from the very gods; he does seem to be uncannily lucky.
