Sasha Ischezat: Supervillain, Mr. Fade, Genetic Wonder, The Vilkan.
Nicknames: Mr. Fade, God of the Gene, The Expanding Mind, The Life Sower, The Vilkan God, The Eternal, and The Endless.
Sasha Ischezat, The Eternal Tyrant of Vilkas, has ruled the frozen wasteland planet with an immortal iron fist since humanity still worked with flint and wielded weapons of wood and bone. Tall, svelte, with a deathly pallor, gaunt eyes, and black veins that pulse, dragging warmth and light into his depths. His eyes burn pink so brightly that they can melt any normal material covering them. He dresses in custom outfits with a certain amount of flair, including suits, vests, fur-lined great coats, and shiny shoes. A golden pin marks him as the Ruler of Vilkas on his lapel.
Mr. Fade is a visionary who has led the Vilkan people, banished long ago for his defiance against the Septrinian, to an icy piece of the great Ithia quilt. He wields a genius mind from which he has created the first proper Psi-Amps, unlocked the full understanding of genetics, and spent much of his time hand-crafting the DNA strands of his homunculi children. His psionic potential, personal genetic augmentations, and ability to switch out his powers to counter various threats with preparation time make him one of the most terrifying forces before one considers that he commands an entire planet of loyal citizens who worship him as a god. The League considers this autocrat a villain who is prone to taking what his people need but can generally maintain civility with Ithia. He is even willing to share his research with other great minds and has helped Steiner develop safer Psionic Amps, treatments for genetic issues, and cures for more simple cancers. He tends to get along with fellow intellectuals but dislikes the more hardline heroes. He’s even joined with the League to deal with extreme outsider threats, but he will always put Vilkas’ priorities first, making him a less-than-stable ally. As he doesn’t rely on magic or Narrative powers, he’s one of the few Villains that does not fear the Nine but maintains a degree of respect.
