Relics of the Dead Age: Kaleidoscope

Relics of the Dead Age.

*Relics are objects that have absorbed personality, tragedy, raw emotion, and other extremes from mortal and divine life. They gain power from those who once held them and are a major source of power among those evading the Astarte forces. *

Relic Name: Kaleidoscope

Type: Misc.

Origin Class: The Broken Things.

Appearance: An old broken rifle scope from the first Axandrian-Ithian War, where forward scout forces were forced back by the Heroes of Whirlpool Island. An old rusty scope with its lens is cracked, and a jagged line of a bullet that grazed along its right side. Old blood spatter leaves deep corrosion, and the broken lens seems colorful.

Phenomenal Traits:

Dreams of Color: The scope was one held by a young man serving the mandated years all Axandrians must serve. Once he dreamed of colors, of beauty, of words he’d never write, of images he’d never paint, of loves he’d never have.  Shot with a captured Axandrian rifle by a Hero of the Whirlpool Island, his creativity bled into the cracks as his mind spilled forth from the skull that once held them.  When this relic is channeled and attached to a rifle and used as a scope, the colors dance and shift, making beautiful designs. Each color entails some kind of enchantment to the rifle’s weather for increased velocity; cloning bullets fired, slowing time around the wielder, and generating a field of deflective energy in front of the weapon.
