*The Celestials or Coelestis Exercitus, servants of the Gods, are divided into Solnatus, who serve the Seir’Ald, Orbisliberi, who serve the Powers, and Astrumortus, who serve the Fates.
The Orbisliberi of Septriss are the Scrivner. Scriveners are short, hunched creatures with arms that unfold tens of feet. They have four legs that stabilize their bodies, and have a selection of independently moving eyes. They have a set of smaller arms attached to their chest, perfect for holding books while their main arms are otherwise engaged. Their feet have small hooks that allow them to easily climb the shelves of Septriss’ Library.
Scrivners are extremely intelligent, well-versed in arcana, and highly organized. They excel at sorting, organizing, and spatial awareness.
The Scriveners serve as scribes, gatherers of knowledge, librarians, and arcanists of the Coelestis host. They work for Septriss as aides and servants.
The Scriveners hold ranks of status and power. Professor, Proctor, Teacher, Aide.
