The Astrumortus of Hildalin are the Golden Idols. These great bulls of gold have short chicken wings; fuzzy coats like a llama or a sheep’s woolly fleece. They are large, with golden fleece and silver skin. Their eyes are emerald, and their horns are of polished ivory. They turn up the earth beneath their iron hooves with every step.
The Golden Idols are extremely strong, durable, and equipped with two long, deadly horns they use as lances. Their great hooves tear up the earth beneath them and restore fertility to barren lands. Their hooves remove toxins, salt, and curses from the earth, restoring it. Due to their destructive power, they are often kept away from civilized lands unless absolutely needed.
The Golden Idols are great, powerful creatures serving as shock cavalry in the divine host, all on their own, using their long horns as twin lances. They are bringers of fertility, plenty, and excess. Golden Idols provide the Gods with the highest-quality cream, cheese, and fleece.
