The College of Arts is an association of private institutes funded by patrons and successful graduates. Bards are the second school of magic developed in Ithia by Casimiro Cigno. They seek beauty and the skill to make it. A bard uses magic to empower their arts.

Bards form their magic using Instruments, brushes, knives, hammers, and pans. They can make paintings that warp reality to match it, make carvings that come alive, cook meals that fill more than what was put into them and can warm or cool the body, make music that bolsters allies or causes uncontrollable tears, tell jokes that incapacitate foes with laughter; their limit is only the skill of their crafts and their creativity. The College of Arts was formally organized under Aourell Hathwaye. Both genders are allowed, and while higher classes can purchase entry into the Colleges, the lower classes can earn a place.

Master of Lore, The Bard tasked to record the works of individual colleges.
Master of Gold, The bard tasked to manage the funding of a college and student acceptance.
Master of -, A master of a given Art.
Journeyman of -, A midlevel Bard of a given Art.
Apprentice of -, A graduate taken for further education under a Master.
Dreamer, A graduate of the College of Arts. Hopefully to earn an apprenticeship.
Student, A current student of the College of Arts.
