Dewitoril has scales of moss, green dying to yellows and oranges, and charcoal black. A great beard of knitted branches, moss, and brambles fashioned into a beard runs down from his jaw, and he’s often seen covered in insects, where he’s cultivated moss and small plants to grow on his back.
Dewitoril is patient, wise, and balanced. He is considered a great sage, a creature one with all that is around him, and enjoys keeping many insect pets. He is known for plots against those who threaten his home, his domain, his people, and for working to undermine, turn against, and bring low his foes, leaving nothing but carrion and ruin. Those who choose to wage war against the Moss Beard will find their footing turning to sand beneath them, their allies gone, and their backs plastered with kick me notes. He is known to take in abandoned hatchlings, lost children, and orphaned animals. He maintains small sanctuaries where life and lost things gather under his paternal watch.
