Renown Members: –
Feats of Power: Horrites are powerful summoners, forming and creating small troops of Horrors. Some of the most powerful Horrites can spawn armies of Sultria’s terrors. Though many Horrites are too short-lived to build much of a reputation.
Restrictions: –
Power Source: Terror
Forming Source: Waking Nightmares.
The Drain: Horrites channel Terror and Fear, draining all else, becoming manic, paranoid, and draining away all stable thought. As they cast their magic, their mental state decays, and overcasting can cause full-on psychosis, leaving the Horrite in a permanent living nightmare.
Tools of Trade: –
Horrites are lightly organized, often forming circles beneath full-fledged Clerics and Priests of Sultria. They are short-lived but powerful casters summoning up masses of horrors to serve the whim of the Cult of Sultria. Many grow manic, psychotic, and extremely obsessive qualities, and are prone to flashes of violent emotion. Horrites are instilled with obsessive loyalty to Sultria from an early age.
Horrites are less versatile but powerful summoners and forgers of horrors born of a God’s nightmarish imagination. They can invoke spells to spread terror and obsession.
Horrites often dwell in hidden places, abandoned and forgotten, places the world has lost memory of. They gather beneath the tutelage of Clerics and Priests of Sultria and are often kept and raised in generations of dedicated servants. Horrites do not go in for luxury or comfort and find simple accommodations more than satisfactory.
The Order of Horrors holds several ranks.
Orator of Malice – The Circle leader beneath the Clergy of Sultria.
Speaker of Lies – A Circle Teacher.
Bringer of Eyes – Veteran Horrite.
Former of Teeth – Graduated Horrite.
Witness – Student of the Circle.
