*The Celestials or Coelestis Exercitus, servants of the Gods, are divided into Solnatus, who serve the Seir’Ald, Orbisliberi, who serve the Powers, and Astrumortus, who serve the Fates. 

The Astrumortus of Paladar are the Archons of Light. Archons are creatures of searing light; an entirely black visage haloed in brilliant light, giving them an appearance similar to an eclipse. They have wings of silver lace and broken stained glass, which shift about, forming various images of divine import. They have halos of iron that rotate around their heads like the ring of some distant world, covering their eyes. As they gain power, they gain rings of silver, electrum, gold, and platinum, each with burning eyes, rotating around their bodies and wings, forming a protective energy field around them. 

The Archons can wield weaponized light, radiate heat until the air turns into a contained plasma field, send forth shards of glass, and the most powerful of Archons each wield a powerful gaze from their many-eyed rings.

The Archons are heavy air troops, enforcers, and incarnations of divine vengeance. They serve Paladar as an army of divine crusaders, a fighting force against those who defy the Gods. They do not feel and are cold, autonomous killing machines in service to Order in absolution. They seek chaos and discord without rest, often in conflict with the Lagomalum and other fae.  

The Archons are divided into titles of power and status, including Cherub, Seeker, Crusader, and Lord of Light.
