Known as the Ash and The Darkness of Talis’Vrok. 

The Ash has no true physical body; it is seen as twisting air currents that smells of sulfur, blood, rot, and stale stagnation. It can only be seen at all when dust, ash, or other debris are caught in its swirling mass. It is one of the most powerful nature spirits, having devoured so much death and decay when Talis’Vrok fell. 

The Ash is unfathomable, its goals unknown; it keeps those who land on Talis’Vrok imprisoned. It is said to drag ships to its shores, and clouds of ash steal people from distant lands, and that once in it, it is almost impossible to leave. The Ash is not quite malicious, more like a malignant tumor doing harm without thought, but because it is cancer. Matta Cam has faced it and believes it seeks to understand what makes mortals tick, what the minds of ants might contain, why we struggle, why, why, why?
