Order Name: Theurgists.
Sub-Orders: –
Patron God/Founder(s): –
Renown Members: –
Feats of Power: Theurgists lack the raw power of Sorcerers and are far rarer, leaving them with few feats of true power.
Restrictions: Theurgy comes from blood; it is practiced by children of conceptual beings such as Demons, Angels, or Concepts.
Power Source: Mind/Consciousness.
Forming Source: The Words of Power.
The Drain: Mind, using Theurgy drains the Mind. The more power that is drawn, the more fog fills the mind, thoughts become thick and heavy, flowing like the last dregs of syrup at the bottom of a vessel. The more magic that is used also makes it increasingly harder for a Theurgist to wake up after they fall asleep. Those too drained can sleep through being physically stabbed, unable to rouse their conscious mind even through the pain. Those who drain too much of themselves will find themselves never waking again.
Tools of Trade: –
Theurgists have no formal institutions; their magic stems from conceptual blood. They are intelligent, cunning, and highly fluid of thought. They are natural casters needing no training, and each Theurgist finds the best way to manipulate the world with their limited Words of Powers.
Theurgists, of the three-blood gifted arcane paths, are the weakest in raw power. Their conceptual bloodlines allow them to channel multiple full thoughts and can channel multiple spells at once, have almost unbreakable concentration, and often can twist their words more than other casters. They are minimally affected by iron and steel.
Theurgists are driven by their conceptual origin, seeking to pursue what binds their power, whether righteous fury, sloth, or the shifting of time. Their motives tend to be less driven by blood than their fellows of the blood paths.
Theurgists are not organized but are drawn to places of importance to their origins. They seek places that invoke their blood, be they palaces of pride, temples of piety, or inns along long roads for movement.
Theurgists have no ranks or organizations.
