*The Celestials or Coelestis Exercitus, servants of the Gods, are divided into Solnatus, who serve the Seir’Ald, Orbisliberi, who serve the Powers, and Astrumortus, who serve the Fates. 

The Solnatus of Eur Chara are the Shrouds or Cloud Sheep, great fluffy Coelestis who roam the skies herding clouds; they drink in moisture, sunlight, and the joy of flight. They have bodies of pure living water and cloud fleece, and they are Eur Chara’s cutest little babies. 

The Shrouds are pets and shepherds of Eur Chara’s domain. They herd, lead, and command the clouds to spread rain where their mother demands. Often borrowed by the Tres Facies to provide dramatic ambiance. 

 The Shrouds are less intelligent than most Coelestis but are quite powerful, able to summon lightning, gale-force winds, and torrents of rain. Their cloudy fleece, if sheared, can be fashioned into the lightest of wool, breathable, always cool, and weightless. It is worth a king’s ransom in hot arid climates and often restricted in ownership to royalty and nobility in Kaiden cultures. Shrouds are virtually unkillable but can be contained in high-absorbent materials or jars, have a deep dislike of sand, and can destroy themselves if they unleash too much of their lightning. 

The Shrouds come in several levels of power, including Hurricane, Gale, Ram, Sheepy, and Lamb.
