Valintorix. Demi-God of Champions, Heroism, Shields, and Guards. 

Known as Valintorix, The Herald, The Guardsmen, The Champion in Blue, The Sky Lord, The Dragon Lord, and The Paladin. 

Valintorix was the firstborn of the Vaal’Koi’Ta. Current leader of Dragonkeep. Valintorix is the deep violet blue of iolite. His four wings stretch out like the sails of great masts, and his head is crowned in platinum. He wears a silver gorget, banners strapped to his wings, and light dragon barding. He never takes his elven form. 

The Herald is serious, stoic, and highly paternal. He is seen as the mortal father of the Dragons, being the second most powerful of their kin after the Mother Hen. After Oriosium was wounded by the Dead Sun, he sought out the ascendant dragon and, at the moment of the Dead Sun’s triumph, killed him with a bolt of lightning through his fell heart. He was, however, too late, and while the body was broken, the Dead Sun ascended to divinity and rose by his own will as a dracolich. Now with the retirement of the Mother Hen, the Herald stands in her place as leader of the Dragons on Dragonkeep. He still maintains enough power to keep the Dead Sun from returning to the domain of dragons. He maintains a fellowship of dragons, Kobolds, humans, and birds.
