Gaal Fo’Halm: Goddess of Priests, Clerics, Clergy, Divine Casters, The Speaker of the Gods.
Known across the plane as Gaal Fo’Halm, The Speaker, The First Priestess, The Devout, The Sacred One, The Sun Maiden, The All-Speaker, and The Divine Word.
Gaal Fo’Halm serves no one faction, being the voice of all the Gods.
Holy Books: The Book of Suns and The Book of Crowns.
Gaal Fo’Halm is the word of the God; she is their first and greatest priestess; she is the voice of the heavens. She is the Herald, the Speaker of their divine judgement, and announcer of edict. She represents the heart of all divine servants of the Gods. She is the daughter of Iath Ko and Halm Ior.
Her Symbol is the Shield of Eternal Faith – Two hands wrapped around a burning star in prayer. Haloed in fire, they do not part for pain, cannot break the dedicated worship.
Her Celestial Body is the Podium, a large horseshoe constellation with a wooden platform from where Gaal speaks the divine proclamations.
Gaal’s divine plane is a great temple that stretches on in a great circle an alcove a statue of a God. Her inner chambers sit in the center, surrounded by pillars. A garden where a mountain sits. Gaal rests in a temple at its peak in a one-room building.
Gaal Fo’Halm maintains the Speaking Rod, which projects her voice to all divine servants of each God. It can also be used to speak to all mortals who worship a Fate, Power, or Seir’Ald.
Gaal is a forbidden beauty. Something untouchable, unapproachable, she is the sacred, the treasure set on the highest of pedestals; she is the elixir, the prize, at the end of a Hero’s journey. She is delicate curves hidden beneath modest robes, layers of living sunlight and shadow, flowing to meet at her throat, where they flow into a sun and moon caught in eclipse. She looks fragile, as if a touch or even a breath might shatter her.
She is divine ordinance and declaration of law. She is the voice of the Gods and speaks with their combined authority. She is reserved, professional, and dedicated to seeking eternal enlightenment in the fumes of her oracle seat. She is wise and intelligent and delivered the Book of Crowns and Book of Suns to the mortals below. She grants her divine servants the power to command light and shadow, summon fire, create clouds of incense smoke that can heal or harm, and the power to summon Coelestis.
Gaal Fo’Halm is worshipped by clergy, divine warriors, divine casters, and theologians. She is a divine authority, given the right to speak on behalf of the Gods as a collective, to lead the clergy, and to maintain their mental, physical, and spiritual health. She is not worshipped by the masses, though her shrines and statues of her glory can be found throughout the temples and strongholds of her kin. She accepts the burning of incense as a sacrifice.
