Gai Hoi: Goddess of Festivals, Solstice, Holidays, Culture, and Calendars.

Gai Hoi is a member of the Gods of Seasons.
Holy Books: The Book of Suns.
Gai Hoi is the remembrance days, the celebration of triumphs, of those we’ve lost, of culture, art, and a celebration of years, births, life, and the mourning of death. She is the feast, the fireworks, the dance, the sky lanterns, the parades, and the giving of gifts. She is the daughter of a blood pact between the Seasonal Siblings Sun Jay, Aqel’iath, Eshtur Mil, and Halm Ior.
Her Symbol is the Circle of Life – A stone circle with the Ithian Calendar surrounded by branches, dead in the Winter, blooming in Spring, lively in Summer, and dying in the Fall.
She does not have a celestial body; her movements are kept by the days of the calendar she gifted to the mortals below.
Gai Hoi’s divine plane is a giant stone ring, a garden of each season, with species from every landmass. Each section is decorated for the various festivals and holidays present in each season. Great rope bridges expand to a central island where a small cottage with a snow-covered roof, a spring garden, autumn-colored trees, and a small pool with a tiny sun rest. Here, Gai Hoi lives in cozy comfort.
Gai Hoi maintains no artifacts.
Gai Hoi is the kind of beauty that should only exist in nostalgic memories, she is the childhood crush, the old comfort food that adult hood cannot replicate, she is rose tinted memories of family and home, the wonders of youth the beauty of cultures, skin of snow white, hair of autumn yellows and o ranges, lips of bright summer sun and eyes of bright clear skies. Her hair falls in streaks of the colors of spring flowers. Branches rise from her back like the hands of terrified relief that the first eclipse ended, and the sun was not gone forever. Flowers sprout from the ground where she walks, forming a petal carpet.
Gai Hoi is a stoic deity taking her ceremonies and duties seriously. She provides structure and relief between the seasons and serves as a balancing point for her parents. She enjoys a quiet existence in her divine plane when not carrying out the intricacies of a celebration. She grants her divine servants the knowledge of rituals, duties, and lore behind every holiday, festival, greeting, and ceremony. They hold the power to change the weather to suit a holiday and to evoke a sense of wonder and ecstasy in the seasons. Servants of Gai Hoi can maintain a perfect idea of time and date.
Gai Hoi is not often worshipped directly but is called upon to help with festivals and traditions. She is viewed less as a god and more as an eternal lore keeper, ensuring the traditions that bind people and places together are never forgotten. She has a few dedicated followers who make up her divine servants and those tasked with running the various festivals. Instead of idols, shrines, or temples, the symbols of her worship are her calendars that keep the days precious to us.
