The Mirror Knights are a high-status Order of Spell Shields trained in many aspects of war but primarily serving as imperial guards protecting the Evar Imperial lines. Known for their mirrored silver polished armor, enchanted to deflect magic, prismatic crystals that deflect rainbows across the ground, causing a sense of passivity in others, and their silver shields that pulse through the full spectrum of Fury energies. They are chosen exclusively from the highest-born families in the Empire, and while not always the most capable in combat, are, regardless, well-trained and equipped with powerful protective magic. 

The Mirror Knights focus their magic through their armor, augmenting their mirrored silver armor to reflect magic, their shields to radiate fields of damaging energy, and passively pacifying those around them. Their mere presence can make people feel incapable of violence. Fighting Mirrored Knights in close quarters will result in radiation burns from the various Fury planes, including cold, fire, acid, and death. One must keep their range, relying on pikes and projectile weapons, to have a chance to best these war mages.  

The Mirror Knights are ordered, nepotistic, and very powerful. Each member is forbidden to wed, have friends outside the Imperial Palace, or leave the Palace unless under active orders. Their ranks are as follows. 

Shield of the Empire – The Leader of the Mirror Knights. 

Knight of the Mirror – General members of the Mirror Knights. 

Squires – Squires who serve and learn from a Knight, learning the various skills needed to wage war and the arcane abilities to wield the magic of the Mirror Knights.
