Writing Worlds with Words

Gods of Ithia: The Mistress Mouse.

The Mistress Mouse. Goddess of Fear, Terror, Anxiety, and Safety.

Known as The Mistress Mouse, The Rodent Witch, Squeak, Mother Mouse, The Protector, The Dangerward, The Sacrificed, and The Eater of Sin.

Mistress Mouse is burned, terribly, her body covered in scars. She sacrificed herself so that her followers could survive; the Evari burned her at the pyre, bound her body in an iron maiden, and sank her into a grave of salt. She is missing her arms, which, when she rose, were too decayed for her to restore. She walks with purpose, radiating her own beauty, strength, and determination of one who has faced every hatred, fire, blade, and venom this world has to offer. Some might say she is short, but she feels like she towers above most others who stand before her.

Mistress Mouse is courageous, for she has faced every fear and terror that tried to freeze her body and denied it. She is strong, for she has met the slings and whips of hatred, the wrath of Gods, and the trials of a world of war. She has borne the pain of torture, childbirth, and being buried alive. She stands tall, or at least as much as her small stature allows. One does not look down upon this mouse; one shows respect to the leader of the Coven of Fear.
