The Gōrudentatchi, The Order of the Golden Touch are distinct healers and arcanists of the Vigint. Taking in the philosophy of Kintsugi leaving golden scars that enhance the receiver based on the wound, intent, and affected part of the body. While Gold is their primary casting tool they can use silver for less severe wounds, platinum for more powerful healings, steel for greater power after a natural healing period, Mithvalt for flexibility and resistance to energy, and other rare specialty metals.
The Gōrudentatchi create a base of magic infused blood, ground flesh, bonemeal, or ground organ they’re mending, a binding agent, the metal dust of their choosing, and heat. They apply the compound over a wound, be it a cut, bruise, or on the skin over a broken bone or damaged organ. Healing leaves a permanent scar of a flexible metal used as the base, though only bases of Silver, Gold, and Platinum cause rapid mending. Gōrudentatchi healing benefits are greatly influenced by the intent of the inflictor. Great malice and deadly intent bolster the boons of healing greatly. The gaudy Golden Guard of the Forbidden Palace of Wei who undergo full body healing after being beaten bloody across their body are powerful but nowhere near as those who earn their scars in true battles.
The Gōrudentatchi are highly ordered and led by the Ashike Shogunate. Their rankings, though the Shogun is not actually a Gōrudentatchi himself, are as follows.
The Shogun of the Vigint Empire: The Supreme authority of the Gōrudentatchi order.
The Grand Masters of the Rings: Masters of the craft who lead the Rings, or sub orders, of the Gōrudentatchi.
The Platinum Rings: Masters of the craft but not prestigious enough to lead their own Ring.
The Gold Rings: Fully trained but not yet Masters of the craft.
The Silver Rings: Apprentice learning from Gold and/or Platinum Rings.
Ringless: Hopefuls learning basics of the Gōrudentatchi way but unchosen by a Gold or Platinum Ring for proper training.
