Outsiders of Ithia: The Susurrant the Dolls of Death.

*The Celestials or Coelestis Exercitus, servants of the Gods are divided into Solnatus who serve the Seir’Ald, Orbisliberi who serve the Powers, and Astrumortus who serve the Fates.

The Astrumortus of Mire are the Susurrant, pale humanoids with glassy doll-like eyes; mouths sewn shut into twist grimacing smiles, too many joints that have far too much flexibility and articulation. Their neat uniforms are a grey that keeps them hard to see on dark nights sewn into their flesh with these stitching indicating rank with the highest being orange followed by purple and then red.

The Susurrant are dangerous Coelestis Exercitus who walk in shadow, darkness, and whispers able to appear by those who whisper, can let themselves be carried by the wind, summon blades of coagulated blood from their bodies, are unimaginably flexible, are resistant to metals not of silver or gold, and can bind secrets into themselves making it impossible to spread them.

The Susurrant are the agents of Mire working to carry the malicious god’s plots into reality. They act as spies, assassins, and the binders of secrets rarely being lent out to other gods.

The Susurrant are deadly agile, silent, stealthy, and deadly close quarter combatants, but their reliance on their own blood can allow toxins into their systems as they draw and retract it into their bodies.  While flexible the Susurrant are brittle and strong blunt force blows can shatter their strangely hard skin like porcelain exposing the fact they are empty on the inside save for blood.

The Susurrant come in levels of power and status including Word, Mute, and Doll.
