Gods of Ithia Expanded: Ditrin Halt the Shape Thief.

Ditrin Halt: Goddess of Shapeshifters, Barbarians, Savages, Warrior Cultures, and Anamorphisms.

Known across the plane Ditrin Halt, The Changing Wind, The Shape Thief, Miss Savage, Lady of Change, The Unbound, The Thousand Faced, The Raider God, The Tribal Idol, The Face Stealer, and Lady Reflection.

Ditrin Halt is a member of the Ko’Cai.

Holy Books: The Book of Suns.

Ditrin Halt is that which is fluid, the changing of flesh, the shifting of forms, the warping of the face. She is the savage, the tribal, the outsider, the other; the primitive savage the Evari, Vigint, and Marok spit upon their high walls. She is the daughter of Orei Vil and Aqis Katar.

Her Symbol is The Change of Heart – A distorted image of the face of a rabbit on one side and a rabid wolf on the other. Flanked by crossing sword, spear, and axe. The whole symbol is wreathed in fire.

The Vigint worship her as the Changing Wind under the symbol of The Way – A samurai helm and full facemask on a katana the noon time star backing it.

Ditrin Halt’s divine body is The Cycle, a collection of stars that shift into a range of various animals.

Ditrin Halt’s divine plane is a thick rainforest; waves of shifting sand surround it like a great sea and the harsh climate forces evolution and survival of the fittest to its peak. Her most devout divine servants prove their devotion by hunting the nightmarish monsters in her realm. The climate is harsh, and the beasts are some of the most terrifying Ithia has to offer.

Ditrin Halt needs no relics.

Ditrin Halt is a large powerfully built goddess with thick fur covering her body, save her torso and face, in the pattern of the local apex mammal, multi-armed, with great claws and a mostly humanoid head save for a pair of cute vulpine, canine, or feline ears. Often portrayed in the local raider or warrior culture’s armor or lack thereof. She has a long tail built like a python ending in two large boney spikes.

Ditrin Halt is a fierce warrior, a champion, skilled in sword, axe, spear, claw, tail, and fang. She embodies the brutality of war, the savagery of beast and raider, the calm patience of an ambush predator, and when not driven by battle or blood lust is quite domestic. She has a love of carving wood, baking with Aliander, and fighting with the Wolf Goddess. She grants her divine servants the power to take the forms of other creatures, shape natural weapons, protect against magical induced fear, terror and charms, personify animals granting them sapience and the ability to understand mortals, and the power to speak the tongues of beasts.

Ditrin Halt is the god of the outsiders those left behind when great empires grow and draw in all that is good around them. She is worshiped by Pirate, Coastal Raiders, Highwaymen, Brigands, and anyone who uses violence to acquire wealth and glory. Though she is also a figure of importance in warrior cultures such as the Vigint warrior caste. She is worshipped in village centers, in academies, dojos, and on the sites of historic battlefields. She accepts sacrifices of trophies from hunting and battle symbols of bested opposition.
