Az Fan: Goddess of Sleep and Dreams.
Known across the plane as Az Fan, The Lullaby, The Mistress of Dreams, The Sleeper, The Lovely Dream, The Sleeping Sheep, The Sleep Shepherd, and The Dream Catcher.
Az Fan is a member of the Ko’Cai and The Gods of the Mind,
Holy Books: The Book of Suns.
Az Fan embodies sleep, rest, rejuvenation, and recovery. She embodies sweet, vivid dreams. She is the daughter of Eshtur Mil and Aqel’Iath.
Her Symbol is The Leap of Sleep – A sheep mid leap in a night cap.
When active on Ithia, her divine body is the Blanket, a large black nebula with sparkling stars forming a sheep. While active the Blanket blocks out manipulation of dreams by creatures, magic, and gods.
Az Fan’s divine realm is a place of soft, smooth features. Cozy, warm, and full of layers of blankets. It feels as if its part bounce house, part giant bed, and part pillow fort. Az fan rules from a great chaise lounge and is often found sleeping when not directly involved in something.
Az Fan has no relics.
Az Fan is a strange dream like being with deep purple skin splattered in sparkles as bright as stars. Her hands and feet bleed into bright molten orange, and her here is misty, fluffy, and look like clouds full of a neon pulse of rainbow brilliance. Her eyes are like burning coals and antlers rise from her head like burning branches twisting out wards with countless small baubles, omens, and dreams. Her face has no visible mouth or nose.
Az Fan is a sweet goddess who loves sharing positive and wonderful dreams. Her melodic voice echoes from around her as soft as the rustle of Muse’s feet. She has hypnotic eyes that lull those who stare into them to sleep. She is kind, compassionate, and most importantly always tired. She grants her divine servants the power to grant deep sleep, clearing minds, dream walking, projecting voices, guiding dreams, creating lucid dreams, and the forming of illusions projecting image, sound, and mild degrees of touch into reality though too much pressure will crumble them.
Az Fan is worshipped by those who struggle with sleeping. She is kept in household shrines and does not demand much from her followers but encourages them to help keep the population well rested. She accepts sacrifices of incense, warm milk, and whatever the worshipper finds helps them sleep.
