Kalm. God of Deals, Bargains, Wishes, and Desires.

Known across the plane as Kalm, The Dealmaker, The Monkey’s Paw, The Deciever, The Serpentine Smile, The Master of the Black Parlor, The Wishing Star, The Pale Master, The Web Weaver, The Gaunt God, The Tall Man, and The Wicked Weaver.

Kalm is the Leader of the Gods of Crossroads and a member of the Gods of Malice.

Holy Books: The Book of Crowns.

Kalm is the maker of bargains and creatures outside of the Fae and truly outside deities draw the power for their bargains from him when making unnatural deals.

His Symbol is the Binding of Fates – Two hands shaking bound in chains and nailed together through the palms by six spikes. A candle is held between them with a flickering flame.

Kalm when active on Ithia, is represented by the Dark Vigil a series of tears across the sky of large nightmarish eyes that watch the world below for Kalm.

Kalm’s divine plane is one of the few divine planes properly named, The Black Parlor a place of deals, schemes, and manipulations. Shadows cling to luxurious walls that seem to float in space suspended from puppet strings. Paths of floating stone connect tavern like rooms with too many shadowy corners, faces concealed by shadow and voices morphed into anonymity. Those who form bindings with Kalm’s servants can come to this sprawling palace of shadow to meet and deal with other people of power. Kalm sits upon a seat of bone pieced together with pieces of armor and swords melted gold fits it together and marks the cracks and breaks in its components. Holy symbols have been embedded into it as a symbol of the powers that maintain the elite… bodies, violence, gold, and faith.

Kalm does not maintain any divine artifacts.

Kalm is all skin and bone with impossibly long limbs with too many joints for the comfort of a human mind. He towers over most gods, save the giant gods, his legs are as tall as the longest of stilts and yet his arms still droop down to his knees. Each of his fingers is as long as a man’s forearm ending in needle like claw. He has plucked out his own eyes and is has crowned himself lace of iron and steel twisted together and nailed into his temples. It twists up into a crown of twisting spirals of spikes.

Kalm is devious, cunning, all you crave but nothing of what you need. He is the loan shark who pays you your present and bleeds your future. He is the instant gratification bleeding into of future doom. He is full of a smile gleaming with gaslit shine, firm handshakes, and a silvered serpent tongue whispering all you could ever dream of. And once you’ve taken all you ever wanted he takes all you ever needed and leaves you broken and cold. Divine servants of Kalm can form soul binding contracts that bind through death and reincarnation, advocate deals on Kalm’s behalf, summon monsters from Kalm’s Daughter Sultria, summon and control spiders, and possess powerful trap and binding spells.

Kalm is worshipped by the devious, evil, and or desperate and ignorant. He holds no temples and handles most of his deals in the Black Parlor. He works not in sacrifices but deals, bargains, loans, and bindings. He does not willingly deal with Ko’Gin.

Kalm’s Values.

Pillars (Virtues)- Deals, Bindings, Control, Power.

Columns (Vices)-Sacrifice, Freedom, Chaos, and Compassion.

Kalm maintains the Bound Legion; leg by the monstrous Amit Vaspune champion of Kalm, he leads a legion of immortal guard bound to Kalm’s service to guard the Black Parlor and his agents. All undead their souls bound eternally to Kalm’s service.
