*The Celestials or Coelestis Exercitus, servants of the Gods are divided into Solnatus who serve the Seir’Ald, Orbisliberi who serve the Powers, and Astrumortus who serve the Fates.
The Orbisliberi of Dreous are the Sand Wraiths. These living entities of bleached white sand serve the God of the Dead and are tasked with keeping the souls of the dead from escaping the afterlife. Sand wraiths have the body of a man, the hooves of camel, hands with the claws of a leopard, they sport heads of the Ibis, Crocodile, Cow, and Jackal. They often wear armor of carved sandstone.
The Sand Wraiths are walking sand and are immune to most physical attacks. Most weapons pass through them harmlessly. They can reassemble themselves when sand is removed form themselves. The Ibis Sand Wraiths can touch incorporeal creatures and are tasked with capturing lost souls. The Crocodile Sand Wraiths are larger and can shape earth and command storms of sand. The Cow or Bull Sand Wraiths can call forth rain and draw forth water from deep below the sands they can manipulate water attacking with watery whips or offering succor to mortal servants. The Jackal Sand Wraiths are able to solidify into sandstone, summon golden scarabs that feast on flesh, summon condemned spirits from the Pit to fight on their behalf, and disrupt undead creatures with their touch.
The Sand Wraiths are servants of Dreous and serve as guardians, guards, and keepers of Viwrath the realm of the dead. They often seek out souls that have escaped Viwrath to the mortal coil. They can be summoned by mortal servants of Dreous to offer protection and succor.
The Sand Wraiths are vulnerable to fire which can burn their sand killing the divine spirit that animates them. Those with powerful control of earth can manipulate and bend Sand Wraiths to their will.
