Holy Books: The Book of Crowns.

Bellagran rules over all the fresh water be it flowing rivers, great lakes, or meager ponds. She is the daughter of Zale and Na’Tally.

Her Symbol is the Flowing Vessel – A large amphora overflowing with water that spills out causing a silhouette of a city to form from it.

Bellagran when active on Ithia; is represented by the celestial body the Amphora A constellation of stars that form an amphora, a stream of water falls from it onto the lands of Mordo.

Bellagran’s divine plane is a great sprawling palace of layered pools of water rising up in terraces with flowing water, smooth stairs, and gleaming metal. Statues and grant vases line lightly submerged pathways. Those entering will find a place to store their shoes, so they don’t track dirt into Bellagran’s divine plane. She sits at the top of the fountain. Where she rests in a lounging bath full of water.

Bellagran maintains the Amphora of Life which is carries upon her shoulders. From it all the rivers of Ithia flow to some degree. One can use it to start a new river wherever water is poured out upon.

Bellagran is tall, curvaceous like a great flowing river, with long legs. Her skin is the color of moist riverbed, her arms like the clay of bricks and she has long watery hair bound up in streams and rivers. She carries her amphora on a hip or shoulder and rarely wears much clothing as her hair tends to soak any cloth rather quickly.

Bellagran is intelligent, cunning, and stubborn avoiding and overcoming any attempts to tame her. She dislikes dams and does her best to keep water fresh, clean, and flowing for the mortal masses. While usually calm when roused Bellagran with sweep you up and break you like like jagged stones in a river’s rapids. She will erode any stone break free from any channel and break your dikes and flood your lands. Her temper is not uncontrolled wrath like her mother but focused and pinpointed fury. She grants her divine servants the power to summon water that cures burns, cleans away filth better than soaps, and puts out fires be they oil or magic. They can find underground water sources, control fresh water, purify water, and create fonts from where water will flow from Bellagran’s amphora.

Bellagran is worshipped by almost every person being the source of all life the relies on fresh water.  Her temples are built across rivers or beside large lakes. They must be made at least partially by wood taken from a ship or boat. The longer the ship was in service the more prestigious the temple is said to be to Bellagran. Her temples often feature many forms of flowing water from fountains or have rivers and streams flowing directly down their middle. The floors are often partially submerged by their overflowing fountains to become ever closer to Bellagran. She is given sacrifices of reeds, water lilies, wheat, and the smoothest of river stones.
