Milisam preserves life and protects the dead. She is one of the few gods born across the sects of the Gods being born of Dreous and Zale.

Her Symbol is the Preserved Providence – A pyramid with a scepter topped by an eye.

Milisam when active on Ithia; is represented by the celestial body of Salted Star; a bright white star that sits above the grand temple of Milisam in the lands of Kain.

Milisam’s divine plane is a sprawling crypt, preserved corpses line shelves, decorative jars of organs line walkways, candles cast flickering light in dark halls. A throne of Salt rises high in a great pyramid shaped room where shelves of preserved food are stored on high. Those terrified of death linger here as nothing ages or decay in the place of Milisam.

Milisam maintains Scepter of Providence a scepter topped by a decorative eye and with its base an upside-down pyramid made of salt crystal. It grants her insight, can detect water, preserve corpses and food, break undead curses, and can restore rotten food to edible but bland states.

Milisam is a petite, feminine form wrapped in silk, a golden girdle, a necklace with an eye, a crown, and golden mask studded with gems for color. She has long black hair tied in braids with rings of silver and gold studded in crystal salt cut like diamonds.

Milisam is calm, protective, maternal, and brilliant keeping excess food stable for leaner days, protecting bodies from pests and rot, and the manipulations of Nil’Brek. She loves the mortals and does what she can to prepare them for hard times. She can’t abide those who defile or rob graves. She commands the Drauger, Mummies and Nightkeepers to protect the sacred places of the dead. She grants her divine followers the power to preserve food, water, and bodies. Protect dead from being raised, create positive undead such as Drauger, Mummies, Nightkeepers, and Code Guard. Protect against blight and protect the soul from harm.

Milisam is worshipped by many people as reserves of well-preserved food has kept many species from extinction. Milisam is worshipped mainly in small household shrines except in desert lands where often temples are erect in her honor. They serve as foodbanks, places of worship, and community centers where children can play and interact under the watchful eyes and care of Priestesses of Milisam. She accepts sacrifice of salt, symbols of death and lost loved ones, and trinkets of the figurative death of a previous life stage or struggle.
