Holy Books: The Book of Suns.

Tal Seir is a mournful God often maligned he represents all the pain mortals bury and hide away. He is trauma and pain he is lost loves and loves lost. He is reflection both physical and metaphorical.

His Symbol is the Duality – A diamond split into Dark and Light forming a line of grey in the middle.

Tal Seir when active on Ithia; has his celestial body the Twilight Balance a spiral of brilliant light and darkness which seems to be both blinding bright and muting dark. It seems to be a great focus for mediation and self-reflection.

Tal Seir’s plane is shadow, pools of mirrored light, and dark skies. Paths of floating stone twist through emptiness and liquid memories. Tal Seir sits upon a throne of broken shards from mirrors. Each point stabbing into the dark god. Each shard the figurative Glass Shard of a each mortal below.

Tal Seir maintains no divine artifacts.

Tal Seir is the darkest night of the soul, the shadow, the shard of glass, every trial and tribulation. He looks to be a humanoid shadow with skin like a thousand shards from shattered mirrors. His form shifts and ungulates twisting like a reflection of a dozen reflections. His eyes are pools of reflective light, and his horns rise meeting together forming an almond or eye shape. A mote of darkness sits in the center like an iris of black and purple.

Tal Seir is as much monster as he is savior. A God who embodies good and evil in the soul. While many view him as a monster he is a balance. He is all the pain and trauma buried in the light and all the good and beloved memories hidden in the dark. He is hope that your last-ditch effort will succeed and the terror that your guarantee will fail. He grants his divine servants the power to command shadow, the ability to split their inner selves to have intricate inner dialogues, extinguish light, bolster or diminish vices and virtues, Travel through the Mirror plane, identify Glass Shards, and reflect magical spells back towards their caster.

Tal Seir is worshipped by few people those prone to self-reflection find comfort in Tal Seir. He is worshipped in places that know both blinding light and deepest dark often his places of worship have large windows to let in light but thick walls and curtains to plunge it into darkness. Worship involves self-reflection, dialogue between worshippers, and attempting to understand and overcome pain and trauma. Relieving yourself of past burdens is the greatest sacrifice one can give unto Tal Seir save a joy of a lighter and brighter life going forward.

Tal Seir’s Values.

Pillars (Virtues)- Darkness, Light, Balance, Reflection, and Improvement.
