Gods of Ithia Expanded: Ogrell the Bull God.

Ogrell. God of Murder, Strength, Gladiators, Kinslaying.

Known across the plane as the Bull God, The Kinslayer King, The Minotaur, The Savage, The Gore God, The Blood Sport, the Mad Bull, The Bloodbathed, The Body, and The Glory.

Ogrell is a member of the Mad Gods, The Gods of Malice, The Monstrous Gods,

Holy Books: The Book of Crowns.

The Bull God is almost exclusively known as the Bull God. He is the Son of Mealis and Zatolen and manipulated by Haltheris, Mire, and Daltmot into killing his youngest sister Selimara. Twisted and driven mad the Bull God is reduced to little more than violence and animalistic urges.

His Symbol is nothing more than a black rough circle burned into flesh like his mother burnt away his symbols and flesh. Often painted in blood of those his mad followers have savaged. Gladiators maintain and worship the Bullwark- A bull’s head with combined with its head forms a V on a shield.

When active on Ithia, the Bull God’s Totem is faded and rarely appears added to the stack of his siblings. He maintains seclusion whenever able.

Ogrell’s divine plane is a ruin, a ravaged home where he rages when confined. It is a place of sorrow, death, and pain. Zatolen is the only God who still braves it ever in pursuit of granting peace to the son he failed.

Ogrell does not maintain any artifacts.

Ogrell is all muscle, mass, and height with a great bull’s head on a man’s body. Lips froth, flesh still burns from his mother’s wrath, and his hands are as big as his brother Kayin’s head. He has broken teeth fashioned into jagged points and his eyes remain burning with madness.

Ogrell is all brute force to Kayin’s patience, All madness to Maralina’s passion, all impulse to Korrel’s knowledge. He is pain, incoherent wrath, self-hatred, guilt, and drowning desperation that lashes out at all that approach. Daltmot struck the seers blind and deaf, Mire drove him with guild and whispered lies, and Haltheris dripped into his mind sweet poisons. Ogrell was turned against his family, against the world and against himself. Most servants of Ogrell aren’t coherent enough to call upon his power and his fractured mind is too far gone to grant them. But somewhere something still beats and those Gladiators who bear the Bullwark are gifted with iron flesh that lets blades sink in skin deep for blood and glory but not penetrated to truly wound, protections from disease, and the ability to project the voice.

Ogrell is worshipped by Gladiators and the Sons of the Bull. The Gladiators keep his praise and hail him as The Glory. Their work keeps alive what the young boy could have been and as a capstone on the grave of what is. They sacrifice blood, glory, and flowers to their fallen God.
