An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.     

The Assertor are gendered Fae standing six feet tall. They have flat faces, pale skin, and long dual horns that resemble pincers. They have white hair, and small black eyes. Tattered emerald wings from a beetle flutter behind them like a cloak. Their bodies inhumanly skinny at the joints with limbs thick with sinew and muscle. They form a natural chitin resembling plate armor in shiny black, purple, and green. One arm form into a lance of bone and chitin.  

The Assertor are the most combat oriented of the Order Fae, natural leaders, strong, durable, and stalwart. The Assertor form a lance on one arm which when the tip strikes Iron it causes it to destabilize and explodes. Assertor are immune to Chaos aligned magic and are resistant to Iron.  

The Assertor are Hunters, Guards, and Knights of the Order Court. They serve more generally as Killers of Mortal Invaders and Iron Blooded fae. They hunt down and remove mortal iron that has found its way into the Fae Realm.  

Like most Fae Assertor are eternal and if their mortal body is destroyed, they will reappear at their designated bed. They never age and remain appearing as fresh adults, or whatever age they choose to appear as. Assertor are valiant, highly ordered, and very honorable embodying Order to extreme degrees. They struggle to readjust when plans fall through, shift priorities, or adjust to changing circumstances. They always follow the most honorable path forward making them vulnerable to those who fight to survive.
