Creatures of Ithia Expanded: The Unus Venari the Fae Brutes.

An Advanced Creature Profile by Vincent Groth.

The Unus Venari are masculine fae standing six feet tall. They have dark flesh that can come in deep red, purple, or browns. Their skin darkens as the further away it gets from the chest with the skin around their face, feet, and hands pitch black. Their faces are bleached white and are marked with a red dot to mark a first hunt and growing markings to show their veterancy. Antlers rise from their brow parting their hair that they keep down to their ankles.

The Unus Venari are physical strong, unable to feel fear be it natural or unnatural, cannot be swayed by charms, enchantments, or geasa, cannot be bound by magic, can channel fae fire into their weapons and armor giving them a ghastly appearance and inflicting a strange burning cold sensation in those who face its bite. High Organized when led by an Oberous. They are resistant to the long-term effects of Iron.

The Unus Venari are wild, hot blooded, and vicious creatures who can only be brought to heel by the Oberous and while complacent they make up much of the personal servants of an Oberous, guards, and most of the Wild Hunt numbers.

Like most Fae Unus Venari are eternal and if their mortal body is destroyed, they will reappear at their designated bed. They never age and remain appearing as fresh adults, or whatever age they choose to appear as. Unus Venari when not subjected by the will of an Oberous become overly aggressive, feral, and chaotic. They are vulnerable to weapons carved from antler or bone.
