The Harkonai are giant almost humanoid Fae four large wings, no arms, long powerful legs ending in talons and a long deadly spur. They stand at their full height eighteen feet tall but are often hunched up. They have large feathers that come in black and gold. Their torso is thin, and their eyeless heads have long sharp beaks often wearing golden brass masks granted by the Veilen. They have crests of shadowy haze that forms the crest of their heads. 

The Harkonai are on equal physical terms with Giants, and their hulking size gives them roughly the same height as well. Harkonai are powerful, naturally armed, and magically capable brutes. When struck by magic they store the spell bolstering it with the pain it caused, stoking it, feeding it, and when the time comes unleashing it from their beaks. The Harkonai are fully capable of flight. 

The Harkonai are big brutish creatures who lead by force. They serve as enforcers, executioners, war leaders, and personal guard of the Lagomalum.  

Like most Fae Harkonai are eternal and if their mortal body is destroyed, they will reappear at their designated bed. They never age and remain appearing as fresh adults, or whatever age they choose to appear as. The Harkonai are big, dumb, and clumsy in flight but are quite certain they are very smart.
